National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRiP) New Delhi Manpower requirements of following Posts at Global Automotive Research Centre (GARC), Chennai (Tamil Nadu State). Eligible Persons apply on or before 16th June 2014.
About: NATRiP, is the largest and one of the most significant initiatives in Automotive sector so far, represents a unique joining of hands between the Government of India, a number of State Governments and Indian Automotive Industry to create a state of the art Testing, Validation and R&D infrastructure in the country.

Area of Works:
Manager -> Fatigue Lab, Safety Component Test Lab, Vehicle Test, Crash Lab, EMC Lab, Infotronics and CAE Lab.
Supervisors -> X-Poster and MAST, Electrodynamics shakers, Automobile safety component test, Photometry test, Test Tracks, Air Bag and Pedestrian safety lab, Infotronics and CAE Lab.
Engineers -> Fatigue test, Automobile safety Component Test, Vehicle test, Air Bag test Lab, CAE.
Educational Qualifications:
Managers ->
(a) Should be a Mechanical / Automobile Engineer with degree around 10 years experience or Diploma with 12yrs experience. Should have worked in fatigue/structural dynamic test on component/vehicles.
(b) Should have knowledge of Data acquisition, Operation of the instruments, Finite element analysis.
(c) Experience at a test centre or auto companies.
Supervisors ->
(a) Should be a mechanical Engineer / Automobile engineering degree with 5-7 -years experience.
(b) Should have worked in the specified area at large or medium sized companies.
Engineers ->
(a) Should be Electrical /Electronics engineering with degree 2 -years experience or Diploma with 4 years experience.
(b) Should have experience in automotive safety testing of components/ system in at a large or medium auto companies or testing organization.
