Utkal University, Bhubaneswar (Odisha State) issued recruitment notification for appointment of Vice-Chancellor. Eligible persons apply on or before 9th April 2014. The Vice-Chancellor of Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar, shall be appointed by the Chancellor out of a panel to be recommended, by a Search-cum-Selection Committee constituted under Section 6 of the Odisha Universities Act, 1989.

Eligibility: As the Vice-Chancellor is the Principal Executive and Academic Officer of the University, he/she must be a person of highest level of competence, integrity, moral and institutional commitments. He should be a distinguished academician, with a minimum of ten years experience as Professor in a University system or ten years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/ or academic administrative organization.
