Educational Qualifications:

Subject Metter Specialist / T6 (Soil Science) -> Master's degree in Soil Science or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university. Desirable - Ph.D. degree in Soil Science.

Subject Metter Specialist / T6 (Plant Protection) -> Master's degree in Plant Protection or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university. Desirable - Ph.D. degree in Plant Protection.

Programme Assistant (Lab Technician) / T4 -> Bachelor's degree in Agriculture / Science or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university. Desirable - Master's degree in Agriculture / Science.

Farm Manager / T4 -> Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university. Desirable - Master's degree in Agriculture.

Driver / T1 ->

Essential - Matriculation pass qualification from a recognized board; Possession of a valid and appropriated driving license from prescribed Govt. Authority (the candidate will have to pass the practical skill test to be taken by an appropriate committee of Institute/Hqrs.)

Desirable - One year trade certificate in the relevant field ITI; (OR) Experience of driving in a recognized institution; (OR) Experience of motor mechanic work.

Technical Officer -> M.Sc. in Agrometerology with the two years experience in Agrometerology/AAS project.

Educational Qualifications:

Professor -> (i) Recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act; 1984 & must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India. (ii) B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. (iii) Master degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed with consistently good academic record (iv) Ph.D. in concerned / Allied / relevant discipline and (v) 10 years experience in Teaching/Research/Extension provided 3 years experience as a Associate Professor (Rs. 12000-18300) (pre-revised) or in an equivalent position. (vi) Evidence of contribution to Teaching/Research/Extension as supported by published work/innovations. Desirable - Specialization & Experience in subject/Field concerned.

Associate Professor -> (i) Recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act; 1984 & must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India. (ii) B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. (iii) Master degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. (iv) Ph.D. in the concerned/ Allied / relevant discipline with consistently good academic record (v) A minimum 8 years experience in relevant subject as Scientist/Assistant professor/Lecturer/Extension specialist or in equivalent position (excluding period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree) in the Pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500 having made contribution to Teaching/Research/Extension as evidenced by published work/innovation. Desirable - Specialization & Experience in subject/Field concerned.

Assistant Professor -> (i) Recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act; 1984 & must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India. (ii) B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale. (iii) Master degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed with consistently good academic record (iv) For the candidates having Master degree, NET shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS rated refereed journal, for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted essentiality of NET can be waved off for the candidates holding Ph.D.degree ,provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2009,and the candidate has at least two full length publication having a NAAS rating not less than 4,on the last date of submission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify for NET exemption.
