JNU Vacancy Details:

Total No.of Posts: 71

Name of the Posts:

1. Professor: 13 Posts

2. Associate Professor: 26 Posts

3. Assistant Professor: 32 Posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess an eminent scholar with a doctoral degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality, and actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of ten publications as books or research/ policy papers for Professor Post, Masters degree with at least 55% of marks for Associate Professor Post, M.Phil and Ph.D in the relevant field, should qualify in UGC, NET, CSIR for Assistant Professor Post.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.520/- through demand draft Payable on any nationalized bank in favour of the Finance Officer, Jawaharlal Nehru University payable at New Delhi. No application fee for SC/ST/PH candidates

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets, evidence of teaching, research experience & production of M.A/ M.Phil/ Ph.D/ NET certificates, copies of reprints of published articles, certificate containing the record of date of birth, caste certificate etc to The Section Officer, Recruitment Cell, Room No.131-132, Administrative Block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067 on or before 15-05-2014.
